Industry charity Hospitality Action is set to mark the launch of its East Anglia fundraising board with a celebratory evening at the magnificent 18th century stately home, Holkham Hall in North Norfolk. Guests will be treated to six delicious courses crafted by local award- winning chefs in memory of hospitality employee Nyall Brown from Cromer, Norfolk, who took his own life last spring.
Taking place on Tuesday 4th June in The Lady Elizabeth Wing on the Holkham Estate the evening aims to raise awareness of Hospitality Action’s work across the region. Those cooking will include Hospitality Action fundraising board member Charlie Hodson and a whole host of his award-winning chef friends who have offered to give their time and support showcasing the best East Anglia has to offer.

Hospitality Action is a force for good providing a safety net for those who find themselves battling physical or mental illness, unable to work through injury or having to deal with family problems, and I’m confident that the energy brought by the team will help us support many hospitality people in the region over the years to come.”
Charlie Hodson, owner of Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes, host of the Big Norfolk Sausage Bash and East Anglia Board Member says: “Mental health issues are no different than any other life-threatening illnesses. We’re not afraid of telling people if we have cancer, so why do we still struggle with opening up about our inner struggles? I want to talk to people in my industry: to the producers, the farmers, the chefs and the students and my work with Hospitality Action and our inaugural event this summer will help to make this possible.”
