London based uniform design company Jermyn Street Design (JSD) has been given a Jet2 supplier award for ‘Great Service’ for the supply of the company’s 2018 re-engineered uniform.
The ‘Great Service’ Award comes after Jet2 awarded the contract to JSD following a tender process, which was prompted by a number of previous supply problems.
JSD re-engineered the uniform for Jet2’s pilots and cabin crew, ground ops staff, engineers and holiday reps. In creating the new bespoke collection, JSD’s in house designers focussed on fit, form and comfort, using exciting performance fabrics in the Jet2 brand colours of red and blue.
Not only did the uniform undergo a complete style update, but the range of items was also expanded upon, all within a very short timescale to be ready for the 2018 season.
JSD set up a completely tailored service, with a dedicated Account Manager based close to the Jet2 Head Office in Leeds.
Jet2 awarded the contract to JSD because of the company’s tailored end-to-end service that ensures on-time delivery and correct sizing, bespoke online ordering and stock forecasting systems (to help manage their budget), plus a flexible logistics supply solution.
