Making Spirits Bright Festive Cocktail Favourites

The expert hospitality team from M&T Hotel Management share their merriest cocktail recipes for the festive season.  Let the good times flow!

FROSTED ROSE serving now at the Holiday Inn, Bolton

Ingredients:

  • 25ml vodka
  • 25ml orange juice
  • 25ml pineapple juice
  • 50ml cranberry juice

Method:

In a shaker add a few ice cubes followed by all the ingredients, shake vigorously until the surface of the shaker feels cold. Strain the mixture into a martini glass and then garnished with a candy cane on the side.

WHITE CHRISTMAS MOJITO serving now at The Abbey & Lea Marston Hotel

Ingredients:

·       Juice of 1 lime

·       8 mint leaves

·       1tbls sugar

·       2tbls white rum

·       1 tbls coconut rum

·       1\4 cup canned coconut milk

·       Sparkling water for topping

·       Pomegranate arils for serving

Method:             

In a glass, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until the leaves have broken down. Fill the glass half way with ice. In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut rum and coconut milk, and blend until smooth. Pour over the ice and stir to combine. Top with sparkling water, mint and pomegranate.
