Real Kombucha Secures Listings Across All Of The Pig Hotels

This May, Real Kombucha are delighted to announce further brand expansion with new listings at luxury hotel chain, The Pig. The three strong portfolio, including Royal Flush, Dry Dragon and Smoke House, will now be available in the bars and room larders of all five of The Pig hotels, located in Brockenhurst, Southampton, Somerset, Studland and Devon.

Real Kombucha is an all-natural non alcoholic fermented drink containing less than 2% sugar and under 50 calories per bottle. Made using only three ingredients, high-end loose leaf tea, sugar and a specially grown kombucha culture, Real Kombucha offers distinct and unique flavours, with no compromise on quality or taste. Real Kombucha is already competing with the finest wines and craft beers in over 30 Michelin-starred restaurants.

Real Kombucha began in early 2016 when founder, David Begg, had all but given up drinking. A big lover of food, David found he missed the joy of pairing great wine with great food, and increasingly began to notice that people choosing not to drink were not catered for in any serious, sophisticated manner. When a friend introduced him to an earthy, rich, oolong kombucha, he realised there might be a real alternative. His first brew, made with a silver needle tea that he happened to have bought on a family holiday to India, resulted in a kombucha that produced incredible floral, aromatic flavours. Putting together a small team that included nutrition innovator, Adrian Hodgson, and tea expert, Will Battle, the nascent company experimented with 150 different teas until he came up with the finest in fermentation: Real Kombucha.

The founders can now add The Pig Hotels to their portfolio of stockists, where guests can try Real Kombucha during their dining experience, or in their room, as a sophisticated alternative to alcohol.
