What was your first role with Four Seasons?
My first role with Four Seasons was in 1979, working as a bellman at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. From that point I knew I was in the right place, and wanted to be part of something special.
How have you gone above and beyond during your career with Four Seasons?
During my time with Four Seasons, I have made it my goal to deliver anything the guest desires and more. From obtaining tickets to sold-out sporting events to coordinating guest relocations from the US to the Middle East, securing custom-made suits within two hours, the list goes on. I want our guests to be able to count on Four Seasons to ensure they have an incomparable experience. ‘No’ is not part of my vocabulary – when I say ‘yes,’ I really mean yes.
How did you first get involved with the Private Jet Experience?
I first branched out to the Private Jet Experience in 2012 as Guest Services Manager, an operational role where I served primarily as an on-board concierge for a couple of journeys a year while still leading the Concierge Desk in Washington. In 2016, I was then offered a promotion to my current position, which encompasses both product development and onsite support, so I decided to start a new chapter with Four Seasons outside of the hotel. After three decades, I knew I had achieved everything I wanted to achieve at the Hotel and felt it was time for new challenges and horizons.

The Four Seasons Private Jet Experience takes 52 guests on bespoke journeys aboard an exclusive Four Seasons Jet around the world, opening doors to extraordinary adventures and unforgettable destinations while allowing them to stay at some of the world’s most unique Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts along the way.

What is the main objective of your role?
There are some very inspiring offerings that make up the Four Seasons Jet Experiences, and the key objective of each of them is personalisation and detail. As the Director of Guest Experience, my role is to elevate every aspect of the journey even higher by ensuring every guest experiences seamless Four Seasons service, carefully tailored to their specific needs. Our on-board team has a genuine passion for hospitality and we strive to go above and beyond to create a customised journey for each guest. When guests travel with us, we make the impossible possible and ensure they feel valued like never before.
What is the most exciting part of your role?
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is that it gives me the opportunity to see Private Jet guests bond with one another. I enjoy being a part of bringing together like-minded travellers who are eager to explore the world, yet don’t want to have to think about the logistics of getting from one place to the next. By putting themselves in our hands, we can take over all the planning so they are able to sit back, relax and discover new destinations while in many cases, creating new friendships along the way.

What sets the Four Seasons Private Jet apart from others is the level of thought and precision planning that goes into each and every journey. Private Jets get you to your destination seamlessly and quickly, we also add the human element, elevating the experience to a level that otherwise would be impossible. What do you like to do when you’re not on the Private Jet?
I have been fortunate through my role with Four Seasons to travel to some unbelievable parts of the world, but when I’m not travelling I like to spend time with my wife Connie and enjoy the simple pleasures of family life.
How much of a say do you have when creating the Private Jet itinerary?
Every team member plays a vital role in the Private Jet Experience, working together to create the unique journey. I am in charge of overseeing the experience from conception to completion, using my contacts around the world to bring personal touches, raising the bar high and making the experience one that will always be remembered.
What kind of itineraries do you help create for the Jet Experience?
We have an entire dedicated team with connections to curate the itineraries, reaching far and wide. The excursions we shape may find guests exploring the artistic wonders of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg in total privacy, pedalling on a guided bike journey through the countryside of Bali, or, watching the sunrise over the Serengeti from a hot air balloon.
