Energy-efficient, the tumble dryers’ durable, robust construction and high technology manufacturing including a professionally built stainless steel outer drum, respects the environment at every point of production and usage.
Constantly aware of the need for reducing time in the cleaning and drying process while still achieving the best results, Electrolux has developed the new range with time and cost saving innovations, as well as focusing on quality, user-friendliness and efficiency
Built with a reduced sound level and tightened air-flow to achieve better results, the faster speed Line 5000 tumble dryers have shortened drying times with an average life span of 30,000 cycles, s. The Eco Power feature which measures when garments are dry, automatically turns the heat down to the cool-down temperature, on average 10 minutes, compared to similar models from previous generations. Coupled with the Residual Moisture control feature which measures the exact moisture content throughout the process, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 20%.
In terms of design features, Electrolux has carefully considered the operator’s comfort, equipping the dryers with magnetic door catches, repositioned horizontal lint filter systems and new displays with pre-programmed drying. The doors are amongst the largest available on the market, yet the dryers take up less wall space, enabling the production area to be maximised by up to 20%. An increased G factor, king size filter and reversing drum, the Electolux Line 5000 range, quite simply is unique!
Available in 18 languages and 15 customised programmes, the new Compass Pro programme interface combines functionality and design for easy usage with specific features. The Eco Button saves 10% more energy than a regular cycle, whilst the Care Button gives a better finish to the linen and the shortest possible cycle can be achieved with the Speed Button. With the redesigned control knob and quick selection buttons anyone can easily navigate the Line 5000 dryers.
Regular maintenance is vital to the performance of any machine. The Line 5000 range is equipped with a USB port, facilitating the installation of the latest software updates. This enables the Electrolux Professional worldwide Service Network, including 1,900 service centres and over 7,000 expert technicians, to provide the best maintenance and repair service.
Electrolux has also made several improvements to prolong the life of the dryers. Support rollers have been positioned at the front, eliminating alignment problems and thereby extending the life of the main bearing. Two motors, fan and drum are included as standard, improving reliability, whilst new access on the Timer area and an optional exhaust on the top, gives better serviceability. An optional single phase reversing drum, reducing utility demands, is also available.
The new generation Line 5000 is available with varying drum capacities: 13 kg/30 lb to 37.5 kg/82.7 lb.
