Menzies Named UK’s Best

Menzies Hotels has been named the UK’s best “Accommodation Provider” at the 2015 National Coach Tourism Awards, triumphing over seven other hotel chains, including Accor Hotels, Best Western Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, The Hotel Collection, and Marriott. Almost 500 industry professionals attended the ceremony on Thursday, May 14, which marked the tenth anniversary of the Coach Tourism Awards, created in 2005 to recognise excellence across the industry.

Judges noted that Menzies Hotels had demonstrated both an outstanding commitment to welcoming coach groups and drivers, as well as an ongoing drive to enhance and improve their offering. Additionally, within the group, both Mickleover Court, Derbyshire, and Stourport Manor in Worcestershire were named in the top four coach-friendly individual UK hotels.
