  1. Vintage and premium spirits gaining over standard spirit
  2. Bitter flavours on the rise and the use of herbs, spices and sours
  3. Vegetable juice cocktails
  4. More creative use of ice
  5. Greater use of ready-made cocktail mixes
  6. Low calorie ingredients in ‘skinny’ cocktails
  7. Simpler cocktails using fewer ingredients
  8. Smaller cocktail serves but better quality
  9. Increase in pitcher serves in mainstream outlets
